I used to code in Visual Basic but now I've decided to learn some more on Java, HTML, and php techniques. Can you possibly also recommend some books to read and software to try out? Currently I am creating a web page (just to give it a shot) but I do not like any of the applications I've used so far. I try to code in all of them but the majority miss out on a whole lot of useful features or go into details too deeply.
