First of all Hi, I m new here.

Hostway.com hosts my website (on a Unix server).
Their service and prices are great, but it is hard to monitor the traffic generated by the website (they charge extra for what they call 'advanced monitoring').

Is there a way to install a software on their server to monitor the traffic (all I need really is the numbers of visitors per day/week/month)? what is the best software to use for this?

thanks all!
