I would like to create a sub footer for my contact info and other page links and face book links etc.

I have created a bottom footer already for my copyright.

But every time create another footer the sub footer does not stay on top of footer.

example.

the has own background-color that stays ok

but the background of the background-color the height goes under the "footer" as well. where it is really to go up words not down words.
