You should have a look at the links he has pointing to the page.
Check the number of links
the anchor text of the links (do they use the keyword the page appears for in google)

The main thing in ranking normal and ecommerce websites are the amount of links point to the site page and the most important part is the anchor text used for the link.

we can take more than 65 char in meta title. if searching keyword is used after 65 char and its not in starting 65 then search engine take after 65. i already saw more than 65 ..

yes there are some limits to use character in title and description. You should mostly use 70 character in title and 150 characters in description. it will help to improve your website performance.
