The majority of people are still only discussing Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal as the three best Open Source Content Management Systems, more and more commercial Open Source Content Management Systems are launched. These systems will be reviewed through first hand experience. But, we will add to the equation, a Commercial Open Source CMS system called webriq.com and analyze the major differences between the three open source system and then group those open source system and compare them with a Commercial Open Source system.
Looking forward to hear what you guys think!

Although open source is fine, we use a great .net CMS called SiteFinity.

i also prefer open source cms, just because the work, and they are really awesome! Also they have excellent support and community. And the best of all you can share your coding experience with them and there is no problem.

A content management system is excellent because it means that you will not alter the look of your site every time you add new elements or content to it.
Regardless of whether it is a video, a piece of text or a link, placing new items on your site will not change the look of existing pages. All you need to do is speak to your website design company and ask them for information about the content management systems that they use. If you have a choice of more than one and you have never used a CMS before it can be a good idea to see if you can try both of them and choose the one that seems to be more intuitive and easier to understand. It is better to take the time to do this first rather than trying to learn a system you do not understand after it has been built into your site.

I've been working in Joomla for a couple of years i know it very well. However, I don't think it is the best anymore.
I've recently been interested in trying other open source CMS to expand my competence.
Drupal and Plone have got very good reviews. Silverstripe is another CMS that I've heard people saying good things about.

I couldn't agree more. More often we can see that people choose Joomia, Wordpress and Drupal when it comes to open source content management systems. There is also a solid reason behind this. One is that the features provided by Joomia, Wordpress and Drupal are far better than any other. If you search the Internet, you can find out there are literally so many communities and forums out there for these three. Much of the reason why they got so successful was the support they gave to their customers!

WordPress is a fully functioning content management system letting you build and manage your site without breaking the bank. If you can use Microsoft Word, you can use WordPress for your website.
