As in an earlier post i'am new to dreamweaver. My next problem is about 'manage sites', it's working fine on my home-computer but when i take my site-folders on a memory stick to an other place i always have to redefine my sites. My question is: where does dreamweaver saves this information (the list of managed sites)? Or is it 'normal' that i have to redifine my site with 'manage sites' everytime i copy my sites to a different PC?

Jerry.

From what I can recall, DW actually saves sites that you define in the Windows user profile, which does not usually get transferred with a memory stick. I don't have a copy of Dreamweaver in front of me, so I can't be sure, but there may be an option somewhere to change where DW saves its info. I think the default in Windows is [tt]Cocuments and Settings<user_name>Application DataMacromediaDreamweaver[/tt]. I haven't the foggiest on where to start looking on a Mac, probably something like [tt]~/.dreamweaver[/tt] or somesuch. You may have to set your folder view options to view hidden files and folders in order to be able to browse to that folder. Good luck!
