Grand Design: Gavalian Studio

Unlike Big Country Customs, this design doesn't want get dirty. This design enjoys being clean and it shows. Large, colorful, and clickable images make it easy to navigate the site based on whatever interested you on the front page. Like History.com in the bland designs above, this site has multiple elements that want your attention, but Gavalian doesn't use lots of strong colors and decorative pixels to do it. Instead, things are laid out in a way that your eye can easily scan, and you naturally pick out things based on what you see, rather than what is shown to you. It's a subtle but important difference.
