Font Comparison Screen Grabs

The text on this page is screen grabbed from Mac and PC versions of Netscape and MsIE version 4.x browsers.

If you compare this page with the live text on the other pages, you will get an idea of what other computer users are seeing.

The other pages also show the same samples at -1 and -2 sizes relative to normal.

Netscape 4.x - Mac

This is a screen grab of what normal, default text looks like on a Mac screen.

MsIE 4.x - Mac

The Explorer version is almost identical but note the larger paragraph indent produced witha run of spaces and non-breaking spaces

Netscape 4.x - PC

Even with the fonts size set to Small Fonts, the PC fonts are much larger. Equivalent to +1 size on a Macintosh

MsIE 4.x - PC

The PC Explorer text is absolutely identical to the Netscape one
